On the morning of June 25th, Minh Tri Mental Health Care Center and Lac Hong University (Dong Nai) held a solemn signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement to promote comprehensive and proactive health care for students and staff throughout the university.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Lac Hong University (LHU), were the distinguished educator, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice President of the university, along with leaders, representatives from the Student Affairs Office, Training Department, Admissions and Public Relations Center, and members of the psychological counseling team. From Minh Tri, Ms. Bui Ngoc Diem, Executive Director, and the team of doctors and clinical psychologists from the Clinical Psychology Department were present.
In addition to the signing of the cooperation agreement, both sides engaged in discussions and agreed on several specific activities for the academic year 2024 – 2025. The key areas of focus include enhancing the standardized processes for mental health care services and psychological counseling for students across the university, promoting mental health awareness through communication campaigns, conducting research and policy recommendations for university leadership, and establishing mechanisms for referring cases that require mental health examinations and treatments between the two parties.
Especially, the program will also include a special initiative for screening and supporting the children of faculty, lecturers, and staff who are experiencing emotional/behavioral issues (such as anxiety, depression, social withdrawal, aggression, violence, online gaming addiction, etc.), as well as developmental disorders.
In addition to direct services at the center, Minh Tri is also strongly promoting community mental health care activities, particularly school-based health care and services for companies/organizations. Minh Tri always welcomes and looks forward to collaborating with organizations and schools to bring its mission and values closer to the community – providing proactive and comprehensive mental health care.
